COGNITIVE BEHAVIOUR THERAPY
Cognitive behaviour therapy is a talking therapy that has proven to be one of the most effective means of helping clients overcome depression or to change negative thought patterns.
It is recognised that when a person is depressed they experience a different way of thinking. They sink into a spiral of negative thoughts, which in turn leads to negative feelings. CBT enables the therapist to challenge these negative thought patterns and so help the client overcome their depression.
We have discovered at the Anglia School of Hypnotherapy that CBT works wonderfully well when it is used along with hypnotherapy. These two powerful therapies give the therapist scope to treat many more clients' problems such as depression, anxiety, anger management, relationship problems and much more.
This exciting certificate course teaches students a wide range of cognitive skills to be able to use with their clients.
