At the Anglia School of Hypnotherapy and NLP our moto is that 'we put our students first'.  We take this very seriously because we know from experience that most schools and colleges do not.  Our aim is to ensure that all our students receive all the help and support they need to complete their course and set up their own practice.   

Anglia School of Hypnotherapy and NLP offers excellence in all aspects of our training courses.  We lead the way in teaching the most advanced hypnotherapy and NLP techniques to our students.  We also provide on going graduate support to our students once they have completed their training.

Most other hypnotherapy training courses are classroom based.  This means that you will be taught in a classroom with a large number of other students.  Teaching in a classroom situation means that you listen to lectures and watch demonstrations of hypnosis techniques.  Often you do not get to practice the hypnosis yourself.  You have to do this in your own time without a tutor.  We recognise that this is not the best way to learn how to become a hypnotherapist so our classes are based on hands on practical training.  We keep our classes small so that you will receive individual attention from your tutor. 

You will have the opportunity of working with a partner in the  hypnotherapy surgery and of gaining first hand experience of running your own practice.

 From day one you will learn the techniques by watching your tutor and then practicing them for yourself.  By the time you have completed your course you will be skilled in  the use of all the techniques you need to know to run your own therapy practice.  The skill that we teach you are the ones that you will use on a day to day basis in your own practice.  We know because we are hypnotherapists ourselves and have years of experience on what clients expect.   

We believe in putting quality training above quantity of students per class.  Our classes are kept small to ensure our students receive a high quality training and reach their full potential as a therapist.   

If you are looking to run your own business or for a new start in life - we can help you to achieve this.  Once qualified you are elibigle to set up your own practice or to work within the health services or complementary therapy sector.  Our graduate students work in many different fields some run their own practice whilst others work within the NHS or BUPA.  Others work within the mental health sector or in the eating disorders, working children, pregnancy and childbirth, drug rehabilitation, healing and pain control to name but a few.

Once you have completd your training you will have unique access to the e-mail advice line free of charge.  Also one to one supervision for as long as you need it.  You may also wish to attend our popular drop in days for graduate students when you can share you experiences with your tutor and other graduates.  A free buffet lunch is also provided on these occasions.

FAST TRACK TO BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL HYPNOTHERAPIST AND OWING YOUR OWN THREAPY PRACTICE

FAST AND FLEXIBLE TRAINING

We have been approached by many would be students over the years who were seeking a professional hypnotherapy and NLP training course  to be completed over a shorter space of time.  With the present economic climate more and more people are looking for  a means of starting their own business and working from home.

Many of our graduates in the past have successfully completed their training and are now running their own thriving therapy practice.   Now you can do the same in the shortest possible time.

As from the summer of 2009 students will have the opportunity of training for the The Master Practitioner Diploma in Professional Hypnotherapy and NLP over a an eight week period.  Attending the school for 2 days each week (days arranged to suit you)  for 8 weeks.  This is an intensive course and anyone who applies must be prepared to work hard both during the  training days and by carrying our reading and written assignments on days when they are at home.

At the end of the 8 weeks students who have successfully completed the course will be able to register with The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and run their own therapy practice.

You will continue to receive on going supervision and suport for the first 9 months you are in practice - when you will need it most.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIOUR THERAPY DIPLOMA COURSE

CBT has proved to be one of the most beneficial ways of helping clients to overcome depression.  This is because negative thought patterns are a part of the depressed state so the client  find themselves in a downward spiral of negative thoughts and negative feelings.

CBT is a talking therapy and the therapist helps the client to identify these negative thoughts and feelings and to change them for more positive ones.   The therapist also works with the client to establish goals for them to work towards.  So moving out of the cycle of depression.

This course will give you the skills to enable you to work effectively with a range of clients.
